NEPC Has Scholarships!

The Northeast Pasture Consortium has been awarded USDA-NRCS Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI) funds to support grazing outreach and education efforts across our twelve-state region.

We are partnering with another GLCI awardee, the New England Grazing Network (NEGN) to support the attendance of farmers and service providers at upcoming events such as the National Grazing Lands Vermont Bus Tour and Grassfed Exchange, held in Pennsylvania.

Scholarships will support up to $700 for each event.

Eligibility - Who Should Apply?

Farmers and agricultural service providers are eligible to apply.

Funds will be given out on a first come-first served basis with a priority towards representation from every state in the Northeast region (MA, ME, NH, VT, RI, CT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV).

Trainees/apprentices, beginning farmers, veterans, and members of underrepresented farmer groups from the region are especially encouraged to apply.

Apply for the scholarship HERE. One application covers both events and both organizations. Application deadline August 1, 2023.

Thank you so much, to you and the other folks supporting the work of the Northeast Pasture Consortium, as we strive to connect farmers, researchers, industry partners, educators, and policymakers together for a brighter grazing future across the Northern US.
